In a shocking incident in Vorhalle on Monday afternoon, May 26, 2025, a 51-year-old man was victim to a brutal robbery in his own apartment. He told the police that several masked men, armed with knives and firearms, led him into the apartment after an appointment at his front door and attacked it there. The attackers robbed him of his cell phone and vehicle key before captivating him and fled.

The police quickly received information from witnesses and initiated a search in which five suspects were temporarily arrested between the ages of 19 and 23. During her escape, a vehicle from the suspect crossed the path of a patrol car, which led to a collision with parked cars. Fortunately, the victim only suffered minor injuries. The officials also found several evidence during the arrests, including weapons and storm hoods. The investigation by the criminal police is still ongoing and further information is expected.
