This morning, shortly before 10 a.m., a dramatic police operation at the Karolina-Burger-Realschule in Ludwigshafen caused excitement. A 16-year-old student threatened a teacher in the teacher room with a knife, which immediately heralded the alarm bells. Thanks to the quick intervention by the police, the youngsters could be held until they arrived.

Fortunately, there was no injuries, and according to current information there was no danger for the other students. The student was apparently in a mental state of emergency and was handed over to the municipal enforcement service of the city of Ludwigshafen for further care.
