Carpet knife attack: Police in Ludwigshafen in large-scale operation!

In a dramatic incident in downtown Ludwigshafen on Friday evening, May 30, 2025, two men aged 20 and 22 were arrested after threatening a bar employee with a carpet knife. Shortly afterwards, they attacked a 19-year-old passerby in Wredestraße, who suffered a cut when fleeing.

The police were quickly called on the scene and was able to set the perpetrators on foot after a persecution. When they were arrested, the two massive resistance caused a police officer to serve slightly. Both suspects may have been under the influence of alcohol and drugs; Blood samples were removed. Several criminal complaints were made against them, and the police are asking possible witnesses to report.
