Grahl and Feit take stock: Sensation in the cup game – what now?

Yesterday evening, August 17, 2025, there was an exciting cup game on the program that was all about dedication and commitment. A real spectacle that ended in a resounding victory left a lasting impression on both the players and the fans. Jens Grahl, the goalkeeper for this game, said he was very happy with the zero number after the game. He emphasized that his personal commitment will remain unchanged, even in the event of possible additions or departures. “I always do my best,” said Grahl, who also praised the strong teamwork. “We are already well advanced and have put together a great team,” he added.

Julian Feit, the coach of FV Engers 07, can look back on a surprisingly good performance from his protégés. “In the first 40 minutes the possibility of a real football miracle felt in the stadium,” he explained after the game. Despite the disappointment over the next two goals that the team conceded back-to-back, he remains proud of their performance. He praised both the players and the numerous volunteers who contributed to the success. “If we had scored our own goal, it would certainly have been good for the team,” Feit continued.

The atmosphere in the stadium

In the first quarter of an hour the atmosphere in the stadium was electric. The fans felt the excitement and the possibility of experiencing a sensation. But after conceding the goals, feelings turned from hope to disappointment. “We have to concentrate on the next game,” said Feit, but the disappointment about the result is likely to linger for a while. It showed that despite the defeat, the team has a strong foundation and motivation remains high.

The volunteers, who often work in the background, play a central role in the football club. Their hard work and tireless dedication cannot be underestimated, and Feit made it clear how important they are to the entire club. This shows that, in addition to professional players, there are also many people who are committed to success.

Overall it was a typical cup game with all its ups and downs. Jens Grahl and the other players know that they are on the right track, while Julian Feit is reining in to carry the positive energy into the next games. “The next game is coming and we will be ready,” concluded Grahl, looking firmly to the future.
