Halle (Saale) invites you to Expo Real: New future projects at Riebeckplatz!
The city of Halle (Saale) is on the Expo Real 2025, Europe's largest trade fair for real estate and investments, and thus arouses the interest of investors. From October 6th to 8th in Munich, Halle will be under the motto “Europe's future center is growing at Riebeckplatz - be there from the start!” show off. The stand of the Central Germany metropolitan region is manned by the city administration and the development and management company (EVG) with a total of 27 exhibitors. The focus here is on the important “Greater Riebeckplatz”, which is designed as a new urban center.
What can visitors expect? Planned projects paint an exciting picture of future developments. These include, among other things, a future center for German unity and European transformation, as well as the revitalization of the RAW site, which is to be transformed into an innovation district for cyber and IT companies. The redesign of the transport hub and investments in the hotel industry and infrastructure are also on the agenda. Models, films and virtual visualizations will help present these plans more clearly.
Innovative strength and investment areas
Another important aspect is the available investment space in the Star Park industrial area and the Weinberg-Campus technology park. The city of Halle sees great opportunities here to further expand the economic depth of the region. Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt recently emphasized that Halle is the ideal partner for future-oriented projects and the Department of Economics, Science and Digitalization as well as the EVG will also be actively holding discussions with project developers and companies during the trade fair.
A highlight of the trade fair will be the appearance of Mayor Egbert Geier, who will speak on October 7th at 11 a.m. in the specialist forum “Major investments and their effects on inner city development”. Important topics such as the defossilization of the real estate sector, the competition for skilled workers and the effects of major investments on inner city development are discussed here. A serious issue that is currently affecting many cities is the compatibility of quality requirements and rising construction costs.
If you would like to find out more about it, you can find further information and details about the event on the Mitteldeutschland website. This Expo offers a unique opportunity for Halle and the entire central German region to present themselves on a national and international level and to develop new investment opportunities.
