Großalmerode-Laudenbach, Deutschland - On Sunday there were two perfidious cases of trick fraud in Großalmerode-Laudenbach. A 55-year-old from Witzenhausen was addressed by an apparent father who stated that it was through passing through and urgently needed euros for petrol. In a brazen attempt, he wanted to swap his old Belarusian ruble, who are no longer valid. To make matters worse, the fraudster showed fake banknotes with the inscription "500" and convinced his victim to pay 200 euros.

Both transactions later proved to be fraudulent, because the approximately 1,000 rubles belong to an old series of banknotes that have long been worthless. The police warn: never let strangers tempt you to change money, especially if they give an emergency! Check out foreign currencies carefully and remain skeptical about temporary offers. Suspicious incidents should be reported to the police immediately!
