Action Day Safe.Mobil.leben: Better protect children in road traffic!

On June 3rd, 2025, the nationwide action day "Safe.Mobil.leben - Kinder Auflicht" took place to prevent traffic accidents with children and adolescents. A total of 844 road users were checked in a massive use - with worrying results!

The police checked 526 vehicles at schools and 146 in front of kindergartens. 63 drivers were held responsible for distraction, including cell phone violations. 123 drove too fast and terrifying 71 children were not secured in child seats. In addition, 121 vehicles were illegally parked in the danger zones of schools and kindergartens, while two drivers were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A total of 85 other violations were registered.

The aim of the campaign was not only to punish, but also to raise awareness of the safety of children in road traffic. The dangers were pointed out at information stands - a clear appeal to the responsibility of all road users!
