Alcoholized drivers overturned - witnesses wanted!

In the early morning hours of May 25, two spectacular accidents occurred in Fulda, which the police called on the scene. First, at 2:40 a.m., a 23-year-old woman lost control of her Fiat 500 when she drove towards Fulda-Oberrode on the L 3139. After the "Vemelsruh" junction, she came off the street, overturned at least twice and finally landed on the roof. The driver suffered minor injuries and was able to free himself from the wreck independently. A test for alcohol was arranged, while the damage to the vehicle was estimated at around 15,000 euros.

Just a few hours later, at 4:45 a.m., a 59-year-old man with his BMW X3 caused another incident in Künzeller Strasse. He drove off the street, ran over a traffic island and traffic sign and came to a stop on the sidewalk. Here, too, the suspicion of alcohol consumption indicated, which is why a blood sample and securing his driver's license followed. The total damage amounts to around 10,700 euros.
