In the early morning hours on Monday, a 30-year-old driver on the L 723 near Walldorf ensured a spectacular accident that is said to have happened under the influence of alcohol. The man drove off the highway between 02:00 a.m. and 02:40 a.m. and rammed a traffic light system violently, which led to a considerable damage to property on his vehicle. A watchful witness that passed the accident site immediately alerted the police.
