Alcoholized driver with son at the wheel: police stops Skoda Roomster

On the night of Sunday, May 25, 2025, a 33-year-old man with his Skoda Roomster was stopped on federal road 281 near Porstendorf. An attentive road user had noticed that the vehicle drove into snake lines and immediately informed the police. During a subsequent control it turned out that the driver was at the wheel with overwhelming 1.99 per thousand.

Criminal proceedings were initiated immediately. Particularly: At the passenger seat, the driver's 13-year-old son was sitting in the care of his mother. This incident throws a bright light on the dangers of alcohol at the wheel.
