Cars stolen and fled: police snap the culprits!

Thanks to an attentive witness, the police were able to arrest a 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman on Friday morning on Justus-von-Liebig-Straße. The two suspects are suspected of having committed a particularly heavy theft on the site of a car workshop. The man drove up with a car in the night at 2:30 a.m. while the woman was waiting. He climbed over a fence, opened a car and stolen valuable vehicle parts.

The law enforcement officers arrested the man when leaving the workshop area. During the subsequent search, the officers found the stolen parts in the vehicle of the suspect and a damaged gate to the workshop, which indicates a further attempt to break in. Both suspects were alcoholic and were temporarily released after identity determination. The woman who was at the wheel is also displayed for drunk driving. The police investigations are ongoing.
