Last weekend, the police carried out comprehensive traffic controls in Schmalkalden-Meiningen, in which the driving suitability was checked by several drivers. The result was alarming: Numerous drivers had consumed alcoholic beverages, drugs or other intoxicating means and nevertheless sat behind the wheel. These violations lead to administrative offenses - a serious matter!

The drivers of electroscooters, who were also intoxicated, were particularly striking. These vehicles are considered motor vehicles, and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. The police do not give up and will continue to be consistent against such violations!
