On Friday afternoon, a 51-year-old man from Speyer flated a curious crook in the local shopping market: he stuck a can of beer in his belly pocket and tried to escape in the creep. But his brazen deed was not unnoticed! The market employee discovered the man and stopped him.

In a desperate attempt to fight back, the thief pulled out an animal defense spray and thus threatened the attentive and unsuspecting customers. Fortunately, the spray was not used and the police were informed. At their arrival, however, the slightly alcoholic perpetrator had already calmed down.
