Thieves in Schleiden: Cash and cigarettes stolen from cars!

In the night of Friday, June 6th to Saturday, June 7th, 2025, several thefts made of unlocked vehicles were made in the night. A explosive trio of thieves had a total of three cars and tried to break into two more. While the strangers browse through the interior of the vehicles, they escaped a cash amount of 155 euros and a pack of cigarettes worth 10 euros.

The police immediately accepted criminal charges and secured traces. Fortunately, no significant damage to property could be determined, which is partly due to the statements of the victims who had left their cars open. The investigation is ongoing and the local authorities call up citizens to vigilance!
