E-scooter drivers under drugs: stolen scooter and blood sample!

Barbarossaring, 67655 Kaiserslautern, Deutschland - A police patrol stopped an e-scooter in Barbarossaring on Tuesday evening because the vehicle did not wear any insurance license plate. The driver, a 22-year-old, gave the officials the impression of being under the influence of drugs. When asked, he confessed to consuming cannabis just a few hours ago. He was then accompanied to the office, where a blood sample was taken.

But that's not all: further investigations showed that the e-scooter was registered as stolen. The young man could not give a comprehensible explanation to the origin of the scooter. Now he faces serious allegations for drunk driving and theft. The police continue to investigate.
