Burglars in Syke on the escape: police with helicopter!

On the night of Monday, the police in Syke caught a burglar after witnesses reported a break -in into a snack car. At around 02:15 a.m., the perpetrators broke the door of the snack and immediately fled with a car, while the alarmed police quickly arrived at the scene.

The search was initiated immediately, and service dogs and a police helicopter were also used. The escape car could be localized nearby, in the Fasanenweg. Here the police met a 20-year-old suspect who was arrested. However, a second perpetrator is still on the run.
