Flag destroyed: Attached after Queer Festival is looking for witnesses!

Schloßstraße, 36381 Schlüchtern, Deutschland - On Saturday afternoon, an incident escalated on the edge of a queer festival in Schluechtern: two unknown people attacked a 20-year-old and damaged his transgender-pride flag! The young man was on the way home when the flag was snatched on in Schloßstraße directly in front of the "Lauter’s Schlösschens". In a brutal act, one of the perpetrators broke the flagstock and threw it to the ground before the two men disappeared into all winds.

The police have now started the investigation into property damage and is urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrators. Anyone who has seen something is asked to report to the police in Schluechtern on 06661 9610-0. Previously, the festive event in the city center, in which around 220 people took part, had a colorful move through the city and was accompanied by the police.
