On Sunday evening, June 1, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in Wildeshausen, in which a 61-year-old cyclist was slightly injured. The incident happened around 6:00 p.m. when a 31-year-old driver from Wildeshausen with her BMW wanted to turn from Dr.-Pickart-Straße to Glaner Strasse.

Unfortunately, the driver overlooked the cyclist, who was traveling towards Moors on the bike path on Glaner Straße. The police have started the investigation to clarify the exact approach of the accident. Fortunately, the cyclist only suffered minor injuries.
