Handbag robbery in ice cream parlor: police warn of pickpockets!

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, an 81-year-old was the victim of a brazen pick-up on Lisztstrasse. At 2:20 p.m. a man spoke to the senior woman and asked her for the way. In the meantime, a second perpetrator turned on the woman and stole her handbag at lightning speed. After this sneaky maneuver, the first man accompanied the 81-year-old to a nearby ice cream parlor before retiring. The two perpetrators were dressed in dark and operated with terrifying cold -nose.

The police urgently advise the population and give valuable information to protect themselves from such brazen thefts. Important tips include wearing money and valuables in closed inner pockets, the safe attachment of handbags and the use of breast bags or money belts. It is particularly emphasized that handbags should not be stored unattended - not even in the restaurant or in the shop. Security is going on!
