Youth gang in Rostock: Police strikes back against robbery and theft

The Rostock police consistently act against a criminal youth group who is responsible for a series of robberies, thefts and assault in the northeast of Rostock. While an arrest warrant against a 14-year-old has already been issued, the arrest warrant against an 18-year-old has now been enforced. This is suspected of having committed several offenses, including a particularly heavy theft from a car and the attempt to steal a moped.

The 18-year-old was originally temporarily at large under strict editions on April 25, 2025, but had violated these requirements, which led to the renewed enforcement of the arrest warrant on May 21, 2025. He is part of a group that includes a 13-year-old Romanian known by the police. The authorities continuously check further adhesion measures against other members of this course and warn that further crimes will have serious consequences.
