On Saturday afternoon, May 31, 2025, a heated argument in the Uferstrasse of Schmölln escalated. Around 5:40 p.m. there was an incident between a 41-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man who caused excitement. According to reports, the woman jumped on the road several times for no apparent reason, which prompted the man to prevent her from it. Physical attacks followed: the woman struck, pushed and choked the man, but fortunately both were not injured.

The police quickly became aware of the incident and has started the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the argument. Fortunately, neither the parties nor other road users were in danger.
