Fighting of opinions: protests in the Hammer Bahnhofsviertel escalate!

On Saturday, June 7th, there were two sensational meetings in the Hammer Bahnhofsviertel, which the police kept going. On Willy-Brandt-Platz, a person from the right-wing scene demonstrated under the motto "protecting borders against illegal immigration." In the meantime, about 25 people from the left scene gathered under the banner "The Ruhrpott remains Nazi-free" near the Heinrich von-Kleist forum.

The two groups showed their contrasts in a parallel elevator, which made the tensions between the political camps visible again. With the support of the riot police, the police were on site to keep the events under control and prevent possible riots.
