Police Wuppertal: Finding for weapons found in children

On Friday evening, May 23, 2025, the police in Wuppertal implemented search resolutions on Langestrasse and Hohenhagener Straße. This happened in connection with an alarming incident in which minor children had entered an empty house in Adam-Stegerwald-Straße. There they are said to have discovered several firearms. After investigating the youth welfare office, it was announced that a 13-year-old had handed over three weapons to adults.

The public prosecutor then applied for three searches of search, as it was feared that the apartment owners could possibly continue to have access to the firearms. Special units of the police were also used to support the missions. But the searches were unsuccessful: no weapons were found.
