Psycho-alarm in Rendsburg: Man threatens police with a weapon!

On the evening of June 12, 2025, there was a dramatic incident at Schiffbrückenplatz in Rendsburg. A police patrol car was called after a mobbing 52-year-old man was noticed. When the officers got out of the vehicle, the man suddenly pulled out a black firearm and directed them to the police. In a moment of the highest tension, the officers also pulled their service weapons and asked the man to put down the weapon.

The accused then started to swirl the weapon chaotic in the air, which further escalated. Finally, the man was taken to a local psychiatric clinic and admitted in hospital. Fortunately, there was no change of shooting, and the law enforcement officers remained intact.
