In a dramatic nightly campaign, the police in Neustadt/W. On May 30, 2025 at 1:10 a.m., three cyclists stopped who were traveling on the bike path of Landstrasse 516 without lighting. Only one of the men wore a headlamp when they were on their way home - a risky undertaking in the dark!

During the check, it quickly became clear that the scenery was far more critical than initially thought: All three men, resident in Neustadt/W. Her bicycles were immediately secured and the keys were handed over to a relative. The men had to hand in blood samples at the police station, which will now result in criminal proceedings for drunkenness in traffic. In addition, the driver's license office is informed - another shock for the drunken!
