Cyclists under the influence of alcohol: 1.72 per thousand in Weimar!

In the early morning hours of Sunday, Weimar civil servants stopped a cyclist on Ettersburger Strasse. The 26-year-old, who drove towards the entrance to Weimar, had apparently looked too deep into the glass: a voluntary breath alcohol test resulted in alarming 1.72 per thousand!

The police prohibited him from continuing and asked him to take blood. Now the young man has to expect a report for drunkenness in road traffic. Irresponsible and dangerous - such actions could have serious consequences!
