Riot at the fire brigade festival: Police hold rioters in Keitlinghausen!

In the night of Thursday, May 29, 2025, the police were called to Keitlinghausen at 3:25 a.m., where unrest was caused by the fire brigade festival. According to reports, property damage and physical attacks occurred. When the officers asked a group of young men at a bus stop, they fled to an adjacent company premises.

There, the police managed to arrest two men aged 19 and 20. The 19-year-old was aggressive, screamed at the officials and held no distance. After a failed attempt to show off, the younger one was taken into custody, but there was a physical argument. Both the young man and two police officers suffered minor injuries. The alcoholized suspect then had to be brought into central custody.
