Rapid escape in Bremerhaven: Police chases BMW drivers for risky maneuvers

In Bremerhaven-Lehe, a nightly chase was initiated by the police on the night of June 3 when a car noticed through ruthless driving. The driver, who was traveling in Rickmersstraße at an excessive speed, escaped the police by turning into Hafenstrasse and parking his vehicle on a hard shoulder. When the officers wanted to initiate their control, the driver suddenly accelerated and fled with howling engine towards Felsstrasse.

Despite intensive persecution and a quick driving behavior of the BMW, the driver disappeared into Auguststrasse. The police were initially unable to meet the owner of the vehicle, but later identified it by secured images. The driver must now expect criminal proceedings after the police clearly identified him.
