Fleeping escape through Wiesloch: Police are looking for witnesses!

On Saturday evening at 6:25 p.m. there was a spectacular chase in Wiesloch-Baiertal! A police patrol wanted to stop a suspect VW Golf, but the driver accelerated and fled with breakneck speeds of over 100 km/h. The persecution led over several streets to the vineyards between Rauenberg and Wiesloch. There, however, the officials lost sight of the car.

The Golf was later found in the vineyards, but there was no trace of the driver and his two passengers. Despite intensive searches, supported by a police helicopter, the fleeing remained undetected. Fortunately, there were no concrete hazards or damage during the rapid escape. The police are asking witnesses to report on 06222-5709-0 if they have information about the incident or identity of the driver.
