Roller refugee at the age of 14: accident and theft in Rheinpfalz!

On Monday, May 26, 2025, there was a spectacular accident at the Sternstraße/Kreuzstraße intersection. A scooter driver who disregarded the right of way of a 63-year-old driver collided with her car. After the crash, the driver and his passenger took the escape on foot and left their scooter and a backpack.

In the backpack, the police found the ID of a 14-year-old, who, according to witnesses, was identified as the driver of the scooter. The investigation also showed that the scooter had previously been stolen from the BASF Tor 7 car park. Now the 14-year-old is a criminal proceedings for escape, theft and driving without a license.
