On Wednesday evening, a serious accident occurred on the outskirts of Schluechtern. A car and a motorcycle collided around 7:40 p.m., with the 27-year-old biker being seriously injured. The 39-year-old driver of a Seat wanted to turn left from Landesstraße 3292 to the Landesstraße 3180 and overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist.
