On Tuesday, June 3, a 17-year-old jogger from Wermelskirchen on Thomas-Mann-Straße was injured by an unknown driver. The incident occurred around 7:00 a.m. when the woman with her gray VW Golf drove out of a property entrance and drove over the youngsters' left foot. Instead of stopping and helping, she continued her journey and left the injured boy behind.

The 17-year-old then searched for medical help and filed a complaint with the police a few days later. Now the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis police are looking for the fleeting driver and asks for information from the population. Anyone who has seen something or has information about the driver is urgently asked to report.
