On the hat: police officers warn of false fundraisers!

Leer, Deutschland - The police inspection Leer/Emden urgently warns of a fraud phenomenon that is currently rampant in the region. At supermarket places are looking for unsuspecting citizens to smuggle money with fake collections. A most recent example occurred in Leer on Tuesday evening when a customer was addressed by a young man who spent a deaf and dumb and showed a collecting list on a clamping board.

The woman, convinced of the wrong charitable status, entered her personal details on the list, only to find out that an amount of 20 euros was requested. Suddenly the supposedly deaf sum spoke man, and after the customer had to admit that she had no more money with me, she reluctantly gave him 5 euros. Shortly afterwards the fraudster disappeared with the money. The police urgently advise caution and recommend being skeptical about such situations.
