Be careful, Schöps! Brazen craftsmen demand overpriced price!

In a worrying incident in Schöps, three men were caught on Tuesday morning when trying to offer overpriced gutter work. The men addressed a resident and offered to replace the gutters for 200 euros. After the supposed work, however, they demanded an incredible 1,700 euros. The woman refused to pay this amount, which led to loud discussions.

When the resident insisted on an invoice, the men could not present any because they did not act as traders. Then they fled in an unknown direction without financial damage to the woman. The police advise caution with such dubious offers, since often no professional execution is to be expected and there is a risk of additional costs.
