Halle (Saale), Deutschland - On June 21, 2025, the athletes of the security forces look at the upcoming sporting event of the year: The World Police & Fire Games in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, USA, USA, USA, Start on June 27th. This event, which lasts until July 6, brings together over 8,500 participants from around 70 countries to demonstrate their skills in more than 60 disciplines. A special team travels from Saxony-Anhalt. It consists of 15 police officers, a comrade from the Halle professional fire brigade (Saale) and a comrade from the Magdeburg professional fire brigade. The organization of this major event requires an enormous number of volunteers. Via 2,500 volunteers are needed to support the athletes as best as possible. These helpers can play an important role by acting as the first contact point and helping to ensure high -quality experience for athletes, security forces and sponsors.
