E-scooter control in Lingenfeld: teenagers caught without insurance!

On Friday evening, May 30, 2025, two young people were checked on an e-scooter with a blue insurance license plate from 2024 in Kolpingstraße in Lingenfeld. The police found that the e-scooter was not insured correctly. The 15-year-old driver from the Germersheim district was then not allowed to continue.

The police initiated criminal proceedings against the youngsters and the owner of the e-scooter for violations of the compulsory insurance law. The control again showed how important compliance with insurance regulations is to ensure safety in road traffic.
