In the early morning hour on Saturday there was a dramatic fire in Kühlungsborn! The police alerted around 6:20 a.m. after the rise in an apartment building on Doberaner Straße. A 55-year-old tenant had heated oil on an switched-on stove, which led to the devastating fire. His first attempts to extinguish were unsuccessful!

The fire brigade Kühlungsborn and the police immediately hurried to help and even had to evacuate the entire building in which 11 people live. To prevent worse things, the kitchen of the affected apartment was torn out. Tragically, the apartment is now uninhabitable, the damage amounts to an estimated 15,000 euros. Fortunately, there were no injuries. While the residents were able to return after the extinguishing work, the criminal police are investigating for negligent arson. A shock for the residents - a morning that you will not forget so quickly!
