TEURER BRENCE CANNESS: Man escapes imprisonment with a fine in Constance!

On Monday, June 9, 2025, a 31-year-old German was arrested at the Emmishofer Tor border crossing in Constance. During the entry control of the federal police, it turned out that there was an arrest warrant against him, issued by the Stuttgart public prosecutor. The man had to pay a fine of 2400 euros, which was imposed on him in 2023 due to drunkenness - a payment that he had so far owed.

In order to escape an impending imprisonment, the 31-year-old finally settled the outstanding fine and was allowed to continue his trip.
