50 years of Carlsberg youth fire brigade: a festival of the fire horses!

The Carlsberg youth fire brigade, the oldest youth fire brigade in the Bad Dürkheim district, celebrates its 50th anniversary this month. The anniversary will be celebrated next Saturday with around 200 boys and girls from twelve different youth fire brigades in the district. Distributed over five decades, the youth fire brigade not only played an important role in the local community, but also contributed to the training of young fire brigade. Like Die Rheinpfalz Kaub and Joane Schüler at the head of this traditional facility.

The youth department of the Bad Dürkheim volunteer fire brigade, which is open to children and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 17, offers a wide range of activities. This includes group exercises, vehicle knowledge and learning nodes and stings. First aid and understanding of the rights and obligations of a fire brigade are also part of the training. The youth fire brigade currently has 16 members who have to distinguish themselves through team spirit and interest in the fire brigade. Interested parties are invited to stop by on Mondays between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the tool shed to learn more about membership.
