In a shocking incident in the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 68-year-old BMW driver experienced a dramatic accident on Löchgauer Straße around 01:00 a.m. The man who came from the direction of the B27 apparently lost control of his vehicle due to second sleep. His BMW caught, crashed into a tree and overturned before he came to a standstill on the roof.
Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured and did not need a hospital stay. However, the BMW was a total loss and the police estimated the property damage at around 40,000 euros.
