On Tuesday afternoon at around 3 p.m., two 9-year-old children experienced a shock on Carl-Reiß-Platz! From their playground, they watched a 37-year-old who saw himself in a nearby bush to act against the public to his exposed member. The brave children immediately informed their accompanying persons, whereupon one of them confronted the perpetrator directly. He hastily pulled his pants up again, apologized and tried to get out of dust.

But the duo could not be discouraged! One of the accompanying persons persecuted the man and alerted the police. Shortly afterwards, a patrol could temporarily arrest the suspect. Against the 37-year-old, the Mannheim criminal commissioner is now investigating sexual attacks on children without physical contact. A remarkable case that makes it clear how important vigilance and quick thinking are!
