Accident escape and wood theft: Police are looking for witnesses in Ellwangen!

In Ellwangen, a traffic accident caused excitement on Friday morning: an 83-year-old VW driver ran over the way of a 31-year-old Mercedes driver at a crossing. The collision was violent, the VW overturned and then crashed into another vehicle. The property damage amounts to around 45,000 euros, the 31-year-old had to be taken to the hospital.

But that was not all: an unknown driver damaged a parked VW Golf in pharmacy alley. The property damage is estimated at around 500 euros. The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident. A large amount of wood worth 440 euros was also stolen in Riesbürg-Uutzmemmingen between May 12 and 20. A larger vehicle must have been used for theft. The police accept information.
