Border control in Waldsassen: Czech forced by arrest warrant!
In the course of renewed border controls to the Czech Republic, the Federal Police Inspection Waidhaus arrested a 33-year-old Czech on May 28, who was searched for by arrest warrant. The man had been checked as a passenger in a German vehicle at the Waldsassen border crossing. When checking his personal details, the investigators discovered that he was sought several times by German judicial authorities.
Against the delinquent, two legally binding arrest warrants from the Amberg public prosecutor's office were available: three months in prison for violation of the compulsory insurance law and seven months due to coercion. He is also in the line of fire because of fraud, threat and online fraud in several procedures in Bayreuth, Kiel and Amberg. Despite his valid Czech identity card, he was brought to the Weiden correctional facility after completing the police measures to serve his punishments.
