on Saturday evening, May 31, 2025, a devastating fire broke out in a pigsty at the Hartenhof in Friedberg around 6:15 p.m. The fire brigade was quickly on site and was able to extinguish the fire, but several animals suffered death. Fortunately, no people were injured.

The Augsburg criminal police took over the investigation into the cause of the fire and the amount of property damage. In close cooperation with the Aichach-Friedberg district office and the fire brigade, the police are now trying to clarify further details. The Situation remains tense, while the authorities continue their investigations.
