In a brazen act of theft, a 75-year-old woman was stolen her wallet on Maximilianstrasse in Augsburg on Friday. The senior had lifted money from a bank around 10:15 a.m. and previously noticed a suspect. After she had stowed the cash and left the bank, it was slightly rubbed off by an unknown group of people. Only at home did the woman realize that her wallet had disappeared.

The prey damage amounts to several hundred euros. The police are now investigating theft and is looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident. Those affected are asked to report on 0821/323-2110.
