Cyclists injured after accident: police are looking for fleeting drivers!

A dramatic incident occurred on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, around 4:45 p.m. on Uerdinger Strasse in Krefeld. A 44-year-old cyclist wanted to cross the intersection to Viktoriastraße when a dark small car suddenly came up. To avoid a collision, the cyclist broke violently, lost control and fell. He was taken to the hospital with injuries.

The driver of the fleeting car left the injured cyclist behind and continued his journey over Viktoriastraße. The Krefeld police are now urgently looking for the driver and witnesses of the accident. The statement of an older man who was helpful to the cyclist after the fall was particularly important and gave him his speedometer.
