Fatal accident in Eltingen: Pedestrian of Mercedes overrun!

On Friday, June 6, 2025, a tragic accident occurred on Friedenstrasse in Eltingen, in which an 81-year-old pedestrian died. The older lady fell at the intersection to Hohheckstraße for previously unknown reasons and fell on the sidewalk and the street. At that moment a 43-year-old Mercedes driver approached, who turned right into Friedenstrasse from Hohheckstraße and overwhelmed the woman on the ground.

The seriously injured pedestrian was immediately taken to the hospital, but she died a little later. In order to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident, the Stuttgart public prosecutor has commissioned an expert.
