Stallwächterparty 2025: Political show in Berlin!

Things are going well again in Berlin! The traditional “Stable Guard Party” will take place on July 10, 2025, which has been organized by the Baden-Württemberg state government since 1964. Shortly before the start of the summer break, an illustrious audience of around 1,800 guests gathered, including ministers, MPs, business representatives and numerous celebrities. Who are the big names expected? Among others, Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann (Greens), Interior Minister Thomas Strobl (CDU) and Federal Health Minister Nina Warken (CDU) are on the guest list. Former federal ministers such as Robert Habeck and Annalena Baerbock, both from the Greens, will also take part in the event.

The “Stallwächterparty” has its origins in Bonn, where it was originally designed for ministry employees and members of parliament. Today it has developed into an important social event that attracts high-ranking figures from politics and business. Ambassadors and cultural workers from theater, film and television are also expected. The event not only includes political discussions, but also an entertaining component: musical acts such as the singer Loi and the group Friendship Songs as well as the comedian Michael Gaedt ensure your physical well-being and a good mood South Germans reported.

An expensive pleasure

The costs of the “Stable Guard Party” should not be underestimated: last year they amounted to around 270,000 euros, with additional cash and in-kind contributions of around 780,000 euros being provided by partners. Companies from various industries, including large automotive groups and banks, are involved as partners and exhibitors. This financial support is not without problems, because the organization Transparency International Germany criticizes it as paid lobbying, which causes ongoing discussions.

The ÖkoMedia agency made an important contribution to organizing the event. Since 2010, she has been responsible for the planning and implementation of the “Stable Guard Party” and has, among other things, introduced organic catering and ensured a climate-neutral orientation. The 2011 celebration was the first climate-neutral event. Feedback on ÖkoMedia's commitment is consistently positive, the creative work and collaboration are praised, with the event being considered the highlight of the political summer festivals in Berlin, as on EcoMedia is to be read.

Overall, the “Stable Guard Party” is a melting pot of politics, business and culture. A place where not only contacts are made, but also conviviality is in the foreground. The future is shaped in a relaxed setting - after all, a good mix of information and entertainment makes a successful celebration. With this in mind, we can look forward to this year's event!
