35 years of ASB Barnim: How we are shaping the future of the region!

The ASB Regionalverband Barnim e.V. was founded on May 28, 1991 and has since developed into an important support in the region. For over three decades, the association has provided a wide range of services to the people of Barnim, such as Barnim Current reported. Under the leadership of Managing Director André Mettin, the association ensures moral and ethical transparency in all its projects and works closely with specialists, volunteers and volunteers.

The last few years have not always been easy for the ASB regional association. In 2016, a fundamental understanding of values ​​was developed that will shape the association's future work. A new position paper from ASB Germany, published at the end of last year, addresses global changes and current social challenges. Successful structures and proud anniversaries

The high school has also been recognized for its excellent career and study orientation and is involved in initiatives to promote talent. The focus here is also on new learning methods that are intended to meet the needs of students and on promoting inclusion.

But challenges are inevitable. In particular, the drop in birth rates is resulting in reduced utilization of the daycare centers in Zerpenschleuse and Stolzenhagen, which presents the regional association with new tasks. The high school's mission statement, which is 20 years old, is being revised to meet current requirements and conditions.

Key to social innovation

The ASB Regional Association Barnim e.V. is legally and economically independent and belongs to various associations, including the ASB Regional Association of Brandenburg and the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband. With over 1000 members, the association has built a strong community. How ASB-LV-BB Since 1994, the needs and challenges in the region have been addressed in order to be able to react flexibly and adaptably to changes.

The work of the ASB is characterized by a high degree of solidarity and commitment. It is particularly important to officially promote equality and create a democratic environment in which all members can actively participate in decisions. How ASB South Baden emphasizes, the focus is on helping people in need - regardless of their origin or faith.

Looking to the future, ASB plans to further consolidate existing facilities and focus on the needs of the region. The 35th anniversary of the founding of the regional association next year will therefore not only be a reason to celebrate, but also an opportunity to reflect on future challenges and developments.
