Barnimer Bus Company receives the Brandenburg Training Award 2025!

On November 5, 2025, the Barnimer Busgesellschaft (BBG) in Potsdam was awarded the coveted Brandenburg Training Prize 2025. Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke took over the honor as patron. This award not only recognizes the quality of training at BBG, but also its commitment to securing skilled workers in the region. Over 70 companies applied for the prize, which is worth 1,000 euros each. The BBG is one of the eleven award winners, which underlines its exemplary training, which contributes to strengthening the profession in the industry.

Frank Wruck, Managing Director of BBG, emphasized the high quality of the training and the individual offers for the trainees. In total, the BBG is currently training 29 young people in various professions. These include specialists in driving operations, professional drivers, automotive mechatronics engineers and industrial clerks. The training relies on targeted support through innovative projects, special workshops, coaching and support groups.

Modern training approaches

The BBG shows that you have to keep up with the times in training too. Modern elements such as e-learning and our own training platform are actively used to support the learning process. These digital formats enable trainees to learn more flexibly and efficiently and help to make the training content exciting and practical.

Nowadays it is more important than ever to train talented and motivated specialists. The BBG has set itself the task of not only supporting its trainees professionally, but also supporting their personal development. The award of the Brandenburg Training Prize is a further incentive to maintain and further improve the current standards.

Vocational training – an important foundation

The BBG is not the only provider of training positions in the region. In Germany there are numerous opportunities for young people to begin solid training. Platforms such as Ausbildung.de offer a broad overview of current job offers. Those interested can find various careers here, including 3D designer, geriatric care assistant and IT system electronics engineer. This diversity means there is something for everyone, regardless of whether they have a high school diploma, secondary school leaving certificate or even no school leaving certificate.

The BBG sets standards that could potentially inspire other companies in the region. It remains exciting to see how the training landscape will develop and what innovations will come into play in the future. What is certain is that the importance of high-quality training in all industries should not be underestimated.
